Channels
Channels overview
Where customers talk to your agent, and how connecting one works.
Available channels
An agent can be published to any combination of:
- Website widget — a chat bubble you embed on your own site. No account/credential needed.
- Telegram
Voice calling is in active development and not yet available to connect.
How connecting works
From an agent's Channels tab, adding a channel works one of two ways:
- Website widget and Email need no external account — they're created instantly.
- Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram connect by picking a saved credential from a dropdown — the bot token / access token for that messaging account, added once at the organization level under Organization settings → Channels, then reused across any agent. If you haven't added one yet, the form links you straight to that settings page. See Channel credentials.
Each channel connection belongs to exactly one agent — the same messaging account can only be actively wired to one agent's channel at a time.
Deleting a channel
Every channel has a Delete action with a confirmation step — this is irreversible. For Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram in particular, note that re-adding a channel later mints a new webhook URL, which will require updating the callback configuration on the provider's side again (Meta, Telegram) — see the per-channel pages for details.
