Connecting Azure AI Foundry to delegate an agent externally.
What this is for
Most agents don't need anything configured here — they run on the platform's built-in models (see Choosing a model). This page is only needed if you want an agent to delegate entirely to an agent you've already built in Azure AI Foundry.
Connecting Azure AI Foundry
Under Organization settings → AI providers, add your Azure connection: Directory (tenant) ID, Application (client) ID, Client secret, and optionally a token scope. Use Test connection to confirm it works before relying on it.
Once connected, any agent can be pointed at it from its Settings → Model picker by choosing "External agent — Microsoft Azure AI Foundry" and filling in the project endpoint, agent name, and version — see Creating & configuring an agent.
Removing a connection
Removing the Azure connection here is disruptive to any agent using it — every Foundry-delegated agent in your organization falls back to the platform's default credentials, which may not have access to your Foundry project. The remove action warns you about this before you confirm.
AWS Bedrock
A Bedrock tile is visible on this page but currently disabled ("Coming soon") — it's not yet available to connect.
