Data & privacy

Retention windows and erasing a customer's data on request.

Retention window

Under Organization settings → Data & privacy (admin-only), set how many days (0–3650) conversations and messages are kept before automatic purge. Leave it blank for the platform default. A customer's identity and their long-term memory are always preserved even after their conversation history is purged — retention only governs conversation/message content.

Erasing a customer's data (GDPR-style requests)

To fully remove a specific customer's data — for example in response to a deletion request — enter their channel identifier (a WhatsApp number, Telegram chat ID, or web visitor ID) and, optionally, filter by channel type, then click Erase and confirm. This permanently deletes every conversation, message, identity record, and long-term memory fact tied to that customer across every agent in your organization — it's irreversible and not scoped to a single agent.

Audit trail

Every erasure — along with source uploads/deletions, PII detections, and conversation views — is recorded in each agent's Audit tab, a read-only, admin-only log of the last 200 governance events for that agent. Use it to confirm an erasure actually happened, or to review who did what and when.
