Channel credentials
The organization-level vault for your messaging account credentials.
Why credentials live at the organization level
Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram each need account-level credentials (bot tokens, access tokens) that are logically yours as an organization, not tied to a single agent. Adding them once here lets you connect them to any agent from that agent's own Channels tab, without re-entering them per agent.
Adding a credential
Under Organization settings → Channels, use Add channel and pick the type:
- Telegram — an alias, plus the bot token from @BotFather.
- WhatsApp — an alias, phone number ID, access token, and verify token from your Meta app.
- Instagram — an alias, IG account ID, access token, optional handle, verify token, and login type (Instagram Login vs. Facebook Login/page-linked).
Using a credential
From an agent's Channels tab, adding that channel type presents a dropdown of credentials you've added here — pick one to connect it. See Channels overview and the per-channel pages for the full connect flow, including webhook setup on the provider's side.
Removing a credential
A credential that's currently connected to an agent's channel can't be removed directly — disconnect it from the agent's Channels tab first, then remove it here.
