MCP servers
Connect a remote MCP server, or pick from the connector catalog.
What this is for
If a vendor already runs a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol), you can connect it directly instead of defining tools by hand — the server's tools are discovered automatically and become available to your agent.
Connecting manually
From Tools → MCP Servers, click to connect a new server and provide:
- Name — a label for the connection.
- Server URL — the MCP server's endpoint.
- Headers — JSON, for any required authentication (e.g. a bearer token).
Use Test connection to list the tools the server exposes — including the namespaced name the model will actually see — before committing to Connect server.
Browsing the connector catalog
The Browse connectors catalog offers a curated shortlist of well-known services. Today, Shopify Storefront MCP is the only one that's actually connectable (no authentication required — just your store's URL). HubSpot, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar are listed but shown as "Coming soon" — OAuth-based connection support for MCP isn't available yet, so these aren't usable until that lands. Picking an available catalog entry prefills the manual connect form for you.
Managing a connected server
Open a connected server to refresh its tool list (useful if the vendor adds new tools), enable/disable it, or delete it. Deleting is irreversible — you'll need to reconnect and reconfigure headers again if you remove a server by mistake.
